La Manga Club is a five star sports oriented resort. It is well maintained, secure and has a well established infrastucture, and as well as the organised sports there are many delightful walks, particularly in the woods between the club and the sea. It is protected from the Mediterranean winds by a range of hills that give way to a small sandy beach with a beach-bar/restaurant (La Cala) surrounded by craggy rocks.
The La Manga Club Resort is situated about 10 Km. from La Manga del Mar Menor so be aware of this if booking a holiday or looking for property in the area. On the road from Murcia or Cartagena to La Manga exit at the Los Belones turn off (La Manga Club Resort is clearly signposted). A further 3 Km. drive on a narrow road and you arrive at the Club
The Club is a 1,400 acre sporting paradise. It is a golfer's dream, offering three of the best golf courses in Europe. They have hosted five Spanish Opens as well as numerous national, corporate and charity golfing events. But La Manga Club also offers tennis, swimming, diving, horse riding and other sports. The well known centre for Professional Football also provides facilities for Rugby and Cricket.
