About La Manga Club

La Manga Club is a five star sports oriented resort. It is well maintained, secure and has a well established infrastucture, and as well as the organised sports there are many delightful walks, particularly in the woods between the club and the sea. It is protected from the Mediterranean winds by a range of hills that give way to a small sandy beach with a beach-bar/restaurant (La Cala) surrounded by craggy rocks.

The La Manga Club Resort is situated about 10 Km. from La Manga del Mar Menor so be aware of this if booking a holiday or looking for property in the area. On the road from Murcia or Cartagena to La Manga exit at the Los Belones turn off (La Manga Club Resort is clearly signposted). A further 3 Km. drive on a narrow road and you arrive at the Club

The Club is a 1,400 acre sporting paradise. It is a golfer's dream, offering three of the best golf courses in Europe. They have hosted five Spanish Opens as well as numerous national, corporate and charity golfing events. But La Manga Club also offers tennis, swimming, diving, horse riding and other sports. The well known centre for Professional Football also provides facilities for Rugby and Cricket.

At the centre of La Manga Club is the La Manga Club Principe Felipe Hotel. The Hotel has its own Web site with full information about La Manga Club environment and the services they offer.

In addition to the hotel the resort contains over two thousand individual properties ranging from studieo apartments to luxury villas. These properties are arranged into more than thirty individual communities the largest of which is Bellaluz.

Medical Services
Many people may not be aware of this fantastic 24-hour service that is available to owners, guests and visitors to La Manga Club The doctors provide a 24 hour service for owners, their guests and visitors. Clinic hours Monday to Friday 9.30 am - 1.30 pm 5.00 pm - 8.00 pm (June - October 11.00am - 1.00pm Saturdays) Outside clinic hours contact the La Manga Club telephone operator on LMC internal extension 9 or external telephone 968 175 000 Doctors Dr Ramon Gomez de Salazar Gallud and Dr Eduardo Borgonos Martinez The medical centre is funded by Inmogolf and the General Community. Part of the overall cost of the Doctors' professional services are paid on behalf of owners by the General Community. These contributions are reflected in the significant difference between the consultation charges for Owners, Visitors and named Inmogolf personnel. Basic Charges Clinic consultation: Owners and their immediate family: 25€ Guests and Visitors: 60€ Named Inmogolf personnel and their immediate family:- Free Home visit: Owners and their immediate family: 60€ Owners Guests and Visitors: 120€ Named Inmogolf personnel and their immediate family:- Free Doctor accompanying patient to hospital: Owners and immediate family: 75€ Owners´ Guests and Visitors: 150€ Named Inmogolf personnel and their immediate family:- Free Definition of Owner's immediate family:- The owner's spouse or partner, their parents, children and grandchildren. Proof of identification is required by presentation of the Owners card. Definition of Named Inmogolf personnel and family Doctors will provide medical assistance free of charge to the employees and their immediate relations as designated on a list supplied monthly by Inmogolf SL. This is in accordance with agreement dated 13th June 1997. Additional Doctors charges Medication or treatment such as stitches or ear syringing will incur a cost in excess of the basic consultation fee. Before agreeing to treatment Patients should ask the doctor the actual cost of any procedure. The doctor will be happy to discuss his recommendations in detail. Referrals to Specialists These costs are included in the consultation fee. Specialists operate independently and patients are required to pay for their services at the time of treatment. Prior to agreeing to Specialist consultation and treatment you should ask for an estimate of the costs. Ambulance In an emergency and only on the doctor's instructions, the La Manga Club ambulance will transfer the patient to hospital. This transfer is free of charge. The ambulance will return to the resort immediately to be available for further emergencies. Return transport from Hospital to La Manga Club is the responsibility of the patient. Should the doctor be required to accompany the patient this will be charged at the above rate and must be paid the following dayat the surgery to the attending doctor. Well Man I Well Woman Clinic This is available only to Owners and their immediate family in winter months. Cost 75€ Examinations take approximately 50 minutes and must be booked in advance. Return visit to review test results will be included in the service. This comprehensive service is offered by both doctors and includes checks on blood pressure, EGG, vision, hearing, reflexes, chest, lungs and weight. Blood and urine samples will be taken and sent for analysis to check cholesterol, diabetes, prostate or other condition which the doctor considers necessary. Women can also have a breast examination and a smear test. Blood and urine samples will be sent to a testing laboratory, the cost of which must be paid separately. Analysis Loreto Asensio Espin in the Analysis Laboratory Clinic/Parafarmacia in La Plaza carries out blood and urine analysis through the doctors or by booking an appointment direct with her on LMC extension 4428. Travel insurance:- The doctors will provide a receipt as required. Doctors do not complete insurance claim forms on behalf of patients.
